Recruiting Process

At Detwiler’s we are always accepting online applications from friendly, straight-shooting, positive, energetic people, who are willing to go above and beyond for our customers and their teams.

Because we care for our customers and we believe that becoming part of our team is a privilege, our recruiting process is not fast or easy. After applications are received, we screen them in the order that they are received. For candidates who we believe may be a good fit, the following steps will initiate:

  1. Phone interview; if positive
  2. Personal interview; if positive
  3. Store tour and job review; if positive
  4. Personal interview with the Store and Department managers; if there is consensus to hire
  5. Background check and Drug Test; when acceptable results are received
  6. WELCOME TO DETWILERS! New employee orientation program

Our recruiting process is designed to ensure that both the candidate and the hiring manager determine the new employees’ good fit to our customer service culture and team dynamics.
