Sweet Tea
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 gallon size bag Lipton tea
- 1 1/4 cup white sugar
Instructions
- Take a kettle and fill with 4 cups of water
- Add Lipton tea bag
- Add sugar
- Bring JUST to a boil. Do not let it come to a roaring boil or it will become bitter.
- Grab a gallon container and fill with ice to the top.
- Pour the concentrate over the ice. It will melt all of the ice, so add more. Then top with a little more water.
- Squeeze a little lemon in and stir!
Notes
This is the Detwiler's go-to sweet tea recipe! If you like your tea not as sweet, do 3/4 cup of sugar. If you like it extra sweet, do 1 1/2 cups.
