Break bread into small pieces and place in a medium-sized bowl with the crab meat. Add egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay. Mix gently by hand. Do not overwork!
Form into patties. You should be about to get 6.
Heat butter in a skillet and fry for about 4 minutes per side until brown crust forms on both sides.
