Instructions
Remove thawed turkey from the fridge 1 hour before roasting. Preheat oven to 350.
Combine oil and seasonings in a bowl and rub all over the turkey. Season the cavity with salt and pepper. Stuff the turkey with aromatics like celery, onion, lemon and carrots.
Place the turkey in an oven bag and place in a large roasting pan. Place any remaining veggies in the oven bag under the turkey. Roast until the internal temperature of the thigh reads 160. Usually 2 1/2 hours.
Remove the turkey from the oven and place on a baking sheet. Tent loosely with foil and rest 20 minutes before carving.
