Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add jello. Stir to dissolve and let cool to room temperature.
Crush pretzels in a ziplock bag. Place in a large bowl and add melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix until well combined.
Place crust in a 9x13 baking dish and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool.
In a large bowl, take softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and mix until cream cheese is smooth. Fold in cool whip. Place on cooled crust and spread evenly. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, hull and slice strawberries and add to room temperature jello. Pour over cooled cream cheese mix. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until jello is set.
