Monkey Bread

This 5 ingredient recipe is super easy and will have the whole family going bananas!
Course Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 3 cans biscuits
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cut biscuits into 4 pieces per biscuit. Place in a gallon zip-lock bag.
  • In a bowl, combine white sugar and cinnamon and mix until combined. Dump onto biscuit dough, seal bag and shake well until each piece is coated. The pieces may clump together so separate pieces as needed.
  • In a bundt pan, liberally spray with cooking spray, then dump biscuit dough into the pan evenly.
  • In a medium sauce pan, melt butter. On medium heat, add brown sugar and mix just until the two become one. It doesn't take long. Be careful not to burn it.
  • Pour caramel sauce over the biscuit dough and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes until the biscuits are completely cooked through. Note: place a baking sheet underneath because the caramel often will spill out leaving a mess in your oven!
  • Once finished, let cool for 15 minutes. Take a knife and cut around the edges to make sure nothing sticks. Then flip onto a platter and serve!
