Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 to 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • In a stand mixer, add water and yeast and stir to dissolve. Add eggs, melted butter, sugar and salt and mix well.
  • Gradually add in flour and combine until the dough starts to come off the sides of the mixer.
  • Spray a large bowl and place the dough in it. Cover and let the dough rise overnight in the fridge.
  • After resting overnight, split the dough in half and then roll out into a circle. Brush with a little melted butter, and then using a pizza cutter, cut into 12 pieces. Roll into the crescent shape starting with the wide end of the dough triangle. Repeat with remaining dough.
  • Place the dough on a baking sheet. Cover with a tea towel and let rise for another 3-4 hours at room temperature.
  • Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Immediately brush with more melted butter.
