Course Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, frozen
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • In a large bowl add flour, rosemary, garlic powder and baking powder.
  • Take frozen butter and grate it. Then, quickly incorporate it into the flour mixture until small pebbles form. Act as if the butter is hot, barely touching it so it doesn't melt.
  • Add milk, cream, eggs, and cheese into flour mixture and stir until barely combined.
  • On a floured surface, knead it gently until completely combined, folding it over on itself to create layers. Then, with a rolling pin, roll out to your desired thickness.
  • Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Top with melted butter and enjoy.
