Bell & Evans also uses 100% Air Chilled processing across 100% of production. Unlike conventional water-chilling or hybrid systems used to cool birds to safe temperature during processing, 100% Air Chilled processing is slow and tenderizes the meat while retaining its natural flavor and juices without adding unwanted water pickup. No water added means no absorbent diaper in the bottom of the tray or water weight in the price you pay!
