Blueberry Muffins

 

The Detwiler's famous blueberry muffins are definitely worth the time to make!

Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients
  

Muffins

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups blueberries

Crumb

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter, softened

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Gradually add sugar, oil, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the sour cream into the egg mixture until combined. Gently fold in blueberries.
  • For the crumb, mix together flour, sugar, and softened butter until a crumb is formed. It will be a sand-like texture. Sprinkle over top of the muffins before baking.
  • Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
