Maryland Style Crab Cakes

Maryland Style Crab Cakes
Simple and yet so full of flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat
- 2 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Pick through crab meat to remove any shells.
- Break bread into small pieces and place in a medium-sized bowl with the crab meat. Add egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay. Mix gently by hand. Do not overwork!
- Form into patties. You should be about to get 6.
- Heat butter in a skillet and fry for about 4 minutes per side until brown crust forms on both sides.
