Maryland Style Crab Cakes

Simple and yet so full of flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 2 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Pick through crab meat to remove any shells.
  • Break bread into small pieces and place in a medium-sized bowl with the crab meat. Add egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay. Mix gently by hand. Do not overwork!
  • Form into patties. You should be about to get 6.
  • Heat butter in a skillet and fry for about 4 minutes per side until brown crust forms on both sides.
