Mississippi Pot Roast Sandwiches

The perfect weeknight meal that the whole family will love! Pot roast doesn’t have to be a heavy meal. These sandwiches are the perfect way to use a roast all year round!

These sandwiches are what dreams are made of. Tender, flavorful beef with sweet and spicy peppers and a buttery roll.

Mississippi Pot Roast Sandwiches


  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 12 oz jar sliced peperoncini


  • Throw all the ingredients on top of the roast and cook in your crockpot for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. Shred and place back in the crockpot.
  • Butter the rolls and toast in the broiler until golden.
  • Top with the roast and a slice of provolone cheese. Place back in the broiler to melt the cheese for about 30 seconds. Enjoy!
