Sam's Island Shrimp

The perfect shrimp appetizer!
Course Appetizer, Main Course

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 6.6 oz bottle Sweet Chili Sauce Sam likes the Thai Kitchen brand. 
  • red pepper flakes, optional
  • 2 lbs EZ peel shrimp

Instructions
 

  • In a cast iron skillet, bring butter and garlic to golden brown.  
  • Add lime juice and ¼ cup cilantro, sweet chili sauce and optional red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.  
  • In a separate pot, boil shrimp until done then add to the sauce. Top with the remaining cilantro. 
  • Serve with fresh baguette pieces.
