
Shrimp Mozambique
A quick and easy meal for all you seafood enthusiasts!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs head on shrimp
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 4 packets Sazon seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup diced onion
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
- 16 oz chicken stock
- 2 tbsp white cooking wine
Instructions
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Sazon. Let marinate for 30-60 minutes.
- In a large frying pan, melt butter. Add onion and garlic and sautee until translucent.
- Add olive oil and Tabasco, then add chicken stock and cooking wine. Simmer 3-5 minutes.
- Add seasoned shrimp. Mix and cover with a lid for 3-5 minutes until shrimp are done. You will know they are done when they curl into a tight circle.
- Serve over white rice and enjoy!
