Shrimp Mozambique

A quick and easy meal for all you seafood enthusiasts!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs head on shrimp
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 packets Sazon seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
  • 16 oz chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp white cooking wine

Instructions
 

  • Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Sazon. Let marinate for 30-60 minutes.
  • In a large frying pan, melt butter. Add onion and garlic and sautee until translucent.
  • Add olive oil and Tabasco, then add chicken stock and cooking wine. Simmer 3-5 minutes.
  • Add seasoned shrimp. Mix and cover with a lid for 3-5 minutes until shrimp are done. You will know they are done when they curl into a tight circle.
  • Serve over white rice and enjoy!
